Every student on campus has an assigned senator, whose purpose is to represent the concerns and opinions of the student body to Student Government Association (SGA). All students receive regular emails from their assigned senators to keep them informed about what is going on around campus, and to enlist feedback from students about how the senators should vote on particular legislative items.
If students have concerns, ideas, or questions about Illinois State University, they may contact their senators through the listserv of which they are a part. Students may also schedule meetings with SGA members or have their senators come to their organization or residence hall floor meeting.
SGA meets every other Wednesday evening throughout the academic year. and meetings are open to the general public. We encourage any and all students to attend our meetings.
If you have a concern, suggestion, opinion, comment or issue, please send it to us and we would be glad to follow up with you. We are here to help you with any issues you may have at Illinois State University and are waiting to hear from you. Send us your message.
