To sit on the General Assembly and Academic Senate, while ensuring the concerns and the voice of my constituents (the off-campus students) are heard in these bodies. Also being an active member in the Programs and Recognition Committee, highlighting the achievements of students and RSO’s, and the Finance and Planning Committee within the Academic Senate.
My goals for this term are to effectively represent my constituents, while placing SGA in a positive light within the student body and creating a greater awareness for the association. I am also striving to increase school spirit and attendance of athletic events, something that is currently lacking at ISU. I also hope to find solutions to the major concerns of off-campus students, such as parking, leasing date for apartments and the development of Uptown Normal.
